The Opportunity
Gainesville is home to a 523-bed Comprehensive Stroke Center with a deep investment in neurosciences — and this facility is hiring Neurology RNs for both day and night shifts. Two permanent staff positions are open. You will work in a full-service acute care environment certified by the Joint Commission and backed by advanced cardiovascular, oncology, orthopedic, and neuroscience infrastructure. A 7:1 nurse-to-patient ratio means real acuity and genuine clinical depth. Comprehensive Stroke Center certification is the kind of credential that carries weight on a resume long after you move on.
Sign On Bonus: $10,000. Relocation assistance is considered on a case-by-case basis. Compensation is competitive based on experience. The benefits package is broad — comprehensive medical coverage with many services at no cost or low copay, dental, vision, prescription coverage, and free telemedicine. The 401(k) plan includes a 100% employer match on 3 to 9 percent of pay, scaled to years of service. Additional benefits include an Employee Stock Purchase Plan, tuition and education assistance, paid family leave, fertility and family building support, and an Employee Health Assistance Fund offering free coverage to qualifying full-time and part-time colleagues.
Candidates must hold a current Florida RN license or an approved multistate compact license. Compact license holders relocating to Florida have 60 days post-move to obtain state licensure. A minimum of one year of RN experience is required — any clinical setting is considered. An Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma is required; a BSN is preferred. BLS must be obtained within 30 days of start.
If your Florida license is active — or you are ready to make the move — this is a strong role worth a five-minute conversation. Apply directly or book a confidential call. We will get you everything you need.

The Package
Why Gainesville?
Gainesville sits at the heart of North Central Florida, where university-town energy meets genuine southern warmth. Home to the University of Florida, the city has a population that skews young, educated, and engaged — a dining, arts, and cultural scene that consistently outperforms what you would expect from a city its size. The cost of living is meaningfully lower than Florida's coastal metros, and with no state income tax, your paycheck stretches further than it would almost anywhere else. The climate is warm year-round. Winters are mild, spring arrives early, and outdoor living is a real part of daily life, not an occasional weekend activity.
For families, Gainesville delivers — strong public school options, proximity to one of the country's flagship research universities, and a community that invests in its neighborhoods. The surrounding region is threaded with spring-fed rivers, state parks, and natural landmarks. Ginnie Springs, Paynes Prairie Preserve, and Devil's Den are all within an easy drive. For those who want access to a larger metro, Jacksonville and Orlando are each reachable within two hours. Gainesville is the kind of place where people arrive for a job and end up building a life — not because they had to, but because the city makes a case for itself.
