The Opportunity
This is a permanent Med-Surg Oncology RN opportunity inside a 267-bed acute care hospital on Florida's Emerald Coast. The facility operates a dedicated Cancer Care Center alongside open-heart surgery, an Advanced Primary Stroke Center, and a full range of specialty services — clinical depth that lets you sharpen your oncology practice in a high-acuity environment where your contributions carry real weight. Two positions are available, both on a rotating nights schedule with weekend rotation built in.
Relocation assistance is available and evaluated on a case-by-case basis. The benefits package is comprehensive: full medical, dental, vision, and behavioral health coverage; a 401(k) with a 100% employer match on 3%–9% of pay based on years of service; an Employee Stock Purchase Plan; paid time off and paid family leave; short- and long-term disability coverage; and tuition assistance through a nursing school partnership. Wellbeing support, fertility and family building benefits, and supplemental coverage round out what the employer brings.
To qualify, you must hold a current RN license with a minimum of one year of RN experience — LTAC and SNF backgrounds are accepted, acute care experience is not required. An Associate Degree is the minimum education requirement. BLS must be obtained within 30 days of your start date. ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration certification is required within 18 months of employment. A night shift differential applies to this schedule.
Two openings, and both are in motion. If this aligns with where you want to take your oncology career, apply now or book a confidential call to talk through the details.

The Package
Why Fort Walton Beach?
Fort Walton Beach sits on the Florida Panhandle's Emerald Coast, wedged between Pensacola to the west and Destin to the east — a stretch of shoreline known for sugar-white sand and water so clear it looks like something out of a travel brochure. This is a working community with genuine beach town character: seafood restaurants alongside local shops, a Saturday farmers market, and a pace that feels deliberate without being sleepy. The water defines daily life here — fishing, paddleboarding, sailing, and swimming are part of the routine, not occasional weekend events. Eglin Air Force Base and nearby Hurlburt Field give the area a stable, diverse economic foundation and a mission-focused community that keeps the region anchored.
Florida's zero state income tax means every paycheck goes further — a real advantage for anyone relocating from a high-tax state. Housing ranges from Gulf-front condos to quiet residential neighborhoods with solid schools, and outdoor recreation is genuinely woven into the lifestyle, not something that requires a two-hour drive. Families find a lot to work with: youth sports, trails through Gulf Islands National Seashore, and a commute that doesn't consume the day. Pensacola and Destin are both within 30–45 minutes, which expands your options for dining, entertainment, and shopping without pulling you away from a community that already delivers what most people relocate for.
