The Opportunity
Leading a 124-bed behavioral health unit inside a 280-bed acute care facility is the kind of role that defines a nursing leadership career. This is a permanent, full-time Nursing Manager position in West Palm Beach, Florida — one opening, days only, no weekends. You will oversee clinical operations for a behavioral health program that spans all age groups: children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. The organizational footprint is substantial — over 600 colleagues and 900 medical staff — and the clinical infrastructure supporting this unit includes a 24-hour Emergency Department, a Certified Stroke Center, Critical Care, Orthopedics, Interventional Vascular, and comprehensive surgical services.
The facility has served Palm Beach County for over four decades and carries a well-established reputation across multiple service lines. The schedule is built for longevity — full-time days, no weekend requirement — which means your clinical focus stays where it belongs. Compensation is competitive based on experience, and the organization offers a comprehensive benefits package consistent with a capital-backed regional health system.
Candidates must hold an active Registered Nurse (RN) license. A minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing is required. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) must be current or obtained within 30 days of your start date. Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification is also required within 30 days of hire. A background fingerprint is part of the onboarding process. Prior behavioral health nursing experience and demonstrated clinical leadership or supervisory history are expected for this role.
If you are a licensed RN with a behavioral health background and a track record in clinical management, this is an opportunity worth exploring. Apply now or reach out directly to schedule a confidential conversation.

The Package
Why West Palm Beach?
West Palm Beach sits along the Atlantic coast in Palm Beach County, widely regarded as one of the most desirable places to live in the Southeast. The city delivers a genuine balance of urban amenity and coastal lifestyle — waterfront restaurants, an active arts and entertainment district, weekend boating, and year-round warm weather that makes outdoor living a daily option rather than a seasonal one. Families relocating here find strong public and private school options throughout the county, and the broader metro offers everything from quiet residential neighborhoods to walkable downtown living along Clematis Street and CityPlace.
Florida's zero state income tax is a meaningful and immediate financial advantage — every dollar of your paycheck goes further here than in most comparable markets. Palm Beach International Airport connects the city directly to major hubs across the country, making travel straightforward for work or personal needs. Miami sits roughly an hour south along I-95, and Orlando is about two and a half hours north, putting two world-class metros within easy reach. The climate is mild year-round, the cost of living is competitive relative to other coastal markets, and the community has a character that rewards those who put down roots. For clinicians considering a relocation, West Palm Beach is the rare market where the job and the lifestyle both make a compelling case.
