What They Need
Financial Mastery: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA or Advanced Degree strongly preferred) with 8–10 years of progressive experience.
Leadership Pedigree: At least 3–5 years in a leadership role managing high-performing accounting teams.
Industry Expertise: Significant experience in nonprofit or healthcare accounting, ideally managing complex, departmentalized budgetary cost centers ($100M+).
Technical Precision: Deep knowledge of GAAP, IRS Form 990, Medicare Cost Reports, and internal control frameworks.
Systems Innovation: An aptitude for ERP systems and a drive to automate and streamline financial reporting and clinical integration.
