What they need
This role requires a Medical Laboratory Technician who can perform accurate, timely laboratory testing while maintaining strict quality and documentation standards. You’ll handle STAT, timed, and routine testing, manage quality control procedures, review logs, resolve pending workloads, and take corrective action when results fall outside guidelines. You’ll collaborate closely with technologists, supervisors, and medical leadership to interpret data and support regulatory compliance. An associate degree in science is required, along with a State of Florida Technician License or the ability to obtain one during the interview process. ASCP or similar certification is strongly preferred. PRN availability is required.
